About this platform
Latvian Exam Prep helps learners prepare for Latvia’s state language proficiency examination at CEFR level A2. It covers reading, listening, writing, and speaking in one structured programme.
How the materials are built
Every practice test is independently written against the current VIAA A2 programme. Official samples are used to calibrate task structure, timing, and scoring only; their wording, scenarios, scripts, answer options, and images are not copied.
The interface and all support materials are available in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Uzbek, so you can always understand exactly what you are practising.
Current A2 format at a glance
In the VIAA programme updated in July 2026, each skill is scored separately out of 15 points. The reference pass threshold is 9 points in every skill.

Editorial and language review
Generated practice materials remain drafts and are clearly marked as requiring review by a qualified native Latvian language specialist. A test is not submitted for search indexing until it is both approved and published in the editorial workflow.
