What this test contains
Complete all three tasks: answer the interview questions about learning, form four questions about missing information in the evening-course offer, and describe and compare both ways of learning. Speak in complete, connected sentences, base your description only on visible evidence, and justify your choice. Total speaking-section duration: 10–15 minutes.
Task 1: Interview — Learning and professional growth

Answer the examiner’s questions in complete, connected sentences. Explain your choice and, where possible, give a specific example. There is no preparation time for this task.
Task 2: Questions about an evening course

Read the course offer. Use two minutes to prepare four complete questions about the missing information. Ask one precise question for each target. Do not use “vai” as the question word.
Task 3: Comparing two ways of learning
20 pointsDivu mācību veidu salīdzinājums
Use two to three minutes to prepare a description and comparison of both images. Speak about the learning setting, people, cooperation, equipment used, and opportunities to acquire a new skill. State at least one similarity, two differences, and one advantage or constraint of each way of learning. Then answer both follow-up questions.
